Soliloquy

One day, I happened to overhear a tree speaking to itself in a deep, dense forest, but upon returning home and reflecting on the experience, I realized that it was actually my own soliloquy. I believe that listening to our own words can make it easier to find our way in life. 'Soliloquy' is a term used in theater where an actor speaks their thoughts aloud even when there is no one else on stage, and it is named as such because the audience can still hear it. As I sorted through each piece of artwork that I was going to exhibit, I realized that they were all a reflection of my own inner monologue.

어느 날 깊고 깊은 숲 속에서 나무가 혼잣말을 하는 것을 우연히 엿듣게 되었는데 집에 돌아와 가만히 생각해보니 그것은 결국 저의 혼잣말이었다는 것을 알았습니다. 자신의 말에 귀를 기울이면 삶의 길을 찾기가 더 쉬워질거라고 생각합니다. 'Soliloquy'는 연극 용어인데 배우가 혼자 대사를 하여도 관객은 그것을 들을 수 있으니 그리 이름붙였습니다. 전시할 작품들을 하나 하나 정리를 하며 곰곰이 생각해보니 이 아이들이 모두 저의 독백이었습니다.
